Art-inspired L’Époque Cognac to launch
A new Cognac brand is set to launch in June named L’Époque, which is inspired by historical art movements.
L’Epoque will debut with XO and VSOP expressions
The brand will debut with two expressions: L’Époque Baroque XO and L’Époque Avant Garde VSOP.
The producer likened creating the ‘perfect’ Cognac to ‘painting or composing a masterpiece’.
The XO is made from eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region in Cognac, France.
Inspired by the baroque period, it is recommended served neat or over ice.
The expression’s notes feature both spice and sweetness with peach, pear, pepper and exotic fruits on the palate.
The VSOP is made from eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne regions in Cognac.
Scotland’s Bladnoch Distillery has unveiled a 30-year-old single malt whisky, the earliest expression the distillery has released to date.
Bladnoch Distillery, one of the oldest Scotch whisky distilleries in Scotland, is launching the rarest whisky ever released since Australian entrepreneur David Prior took ownership of the company in 2015. The Bladnoch 30-year-old comes in a bespoke flat-sided bottle with square shoulders and a thick base. Melbourne-based creative agency Chimera Design Studio oversaw the branding and packaging design.
